Upcoming Book Review: Orphans, Assassins and the Existential Eggplant

So we received a request to review Orphans, Assassins and the Existential Eggplant. Usually this is not the type of book that we review, however, the description of this book was so outrageously different that we could not turn it down. We read some of the reviews on Amazon, and it seems to be a book that you cannot put down.

Once we receive the book from the author, which will be we will be emailing back today regarding where to send the copy, we will bring you a review about this amazing book.

One reviewer wrote:
"I don't read a ton of books for pleasure but I did read this one on the recommendation of a friend. It kept me captivated and I ended up finishing it in 2.5 days. This is the kind of book that makes me want to read more often." - B.H.
We will be reading this book soon, and if you want to read along with us you can purchase that here on Amazon.com. This book will be receiving chapter by chapter reviews, similar to that of "Isabella the Warrior Queen" CBC Reviews. Not many books receives this chapter by chapter detail on CJLeger.com, however, we do want to bring the most highlighting to our readers about this particular book.

Sinopsis:
"March across medieval Europe with an army of misfits. Train with teenage killers in the mountains of Persia. Get juicy gossip from a wisecracking vegetable. Orphans, Assassins and the Existential Eggplant takes you on wild ride through the early 13th century with a female alchemist, orphan teenager and an ancient, shrunken eggplant that can speak to whomever wears it. In search of the fabled Lost Stone of Eden, they cross Europe and the Mediterranean with the Children’s Crusade, hijack a caravan in the Sahara desert, live with hashish-fueled Assassins in the mountains of Persia and rediscover paradise on the island of Bahrain."
We feel like this book takes historical fiction and turns it on its head and infuses it with sci-fi. It's something from out of a Gene Roddenberry script. We can't Wait. (This will be a status Page)
