PAID SERVICES

Book Consulting Services

CJLeger.com offers book consulting services. Authors often need consulting for various reasons, whether it's to advise on changes and structure to advising on agents that the manuscript would appeal to.  With this service, we read through your book/manuscript and offer our consulting opinions. The fee ranges depending on the page/word count of the book, but usually ranges between $300 and $500 at a rate of $0.67 per A4 page. Our consulting service provides authors with tools to navigate the publishing world, advises them on the changes they should make and whether the market has space for the particular book type. We also advise on the types of literary agents the book would appeal to.

Query Letters

CJLeger.com offers query letter writing services to authors. We'll read through your outline, synopsis, bio and other required information and put together the perfect query letter that would appeal to agents in the genre of the book. The fee for this service is affordable at $70.00, which includes minor change sand labor.

Publishing Reviews to Amazon & Goodreads

*****Important Information About Publishing Reviews to Amazon & Goodreads*****

For the moment, chosen reviews are published to CJLeger.com free of charge. All reviews are honest, unbiased, and fair. However, if you would like to have the review published to Amazon or Goodreads as well, a charge of $9.99 will be required for each. Publishing to these platforms is a premium offering and requires more time to fulfill, thus to offset free services on the site, we must charge for other services like this one.

Advertising and Promotion

Visit our Promotion Opportunities page to learn more about advertising with us and what we offer.

Book Announcements, Press Releases & Updates

We charge a small fee of $7.99 to publish book announcements like launches, sales, updates, and press releases. This also includes press releases by agencies, authors and publishers about anything they'd like to get out to the media, so long as it is relevant to our scope.

Sponsored Posts

Sponsored Posts are available to publishing professionals to expand their exposure. The posts must adhere to our standards and be interesting to our readers as well as be within the publishing spectrum.

  1. I was wondering if you might be interested in my latest book:Notes From a Very Small Island, a book for anyone wanting to read about life on a Croatian Island, or for anyone who is thinking about going to live a backwater.
A follow-up to the bestselling ‘Under a Croatian Sun’, it tells the story of a couple upping sticks and leaving their humdrum life for blue skies and cafĂ© life on an obscure island in Croatia.
In this latest book, the couple continue their attempts to fit in with the village community, but it’s not always easy, and more often than not their endeavours involve them in disaster, and they find themselves battling with maddening ex-communist authorities as well as highly suspicious locals> But through this, they get to understand the crippling legacy that communism and the recent war have left in the lives of their new neighbours.
This is a book for anyone who has a house abroad – or who has ever dreamed of having one. It is also a book for anyone who is thinking of embarking on a new life somewhere different.
Although the book is a light hearted account, it is also a heartfelt insight into a society trying to adjust to the 21st century and the ways of the Western World.
Reviews for ‘Under a Croatian Sun’:
‘It’s escapism that really works. Full of acute observation, uncontrollable humour and a rousing climax.’ - Country Life
‘To his credit Stancomb resists the stereotype of the closed-minded British expatriate.’ - Independent on Sunday - Pick of the paperbacks
‘A thoroughly good read ---An endearing tale of a roller coaster ride.’ - Croatia Online
‘This is not a tale of your usual English couple. This is such a fantastic read ... both humorous and thought provoking.’ - Travellingbookjunkie
